This has been EXACTLY my experience. Like to a tee. At this point I just wireframe stuff on paper and then go straight to coding stuff up because…. like I love Photoshop but I don’t want to finick around with pixels when I can just do it with stylesheets and components.

Though, I have to admit, sometimes doing a hifi mockup without the strictures of code can lead to some weird good ideas aesthetically.
